Fiona Belli (フィオナ・ベッリFiona berri) is the 18 year old protagonist of the survival horror game Haunting Ground by CAPCOM.
Both of Fiona's parents were killed in a car accident and she wakes up trapped in a mysterious castle. This castle has creepy stalkers that want to kill, rape, and/or eat her.
Personality[]
Due to her sheltered lifestyle, Fiona is shown to be frightened easily, as seen at several points throughout her journey in Belli Castle (such as in her first encounter with Lorenzo). Moreover, she is not very athletic. That said, Fiona compensates for these weaknesses by her quick thinking and mental fortitude.
Fiona is also shown to care for animals, as seen when she sets Hewie free, which created a strong bond between them. When examining a tiger rug, she comments that it must be very awful for it to be walked on all day.
As a student of music and arts, Fiona comments at one point that she can play the piano, but how well she can play it remains a mystery.
Appearance[]

Fiona is a voluptuous teenager of average height. Her blonde hair is tied back into a low ponytail, and her bangs flow freely just above her eyes. She has pale skin with a pink tint to it as well as light blue eyes which match the color of her hair tie and she does not appear to wear any make-up. Around her neck, she wears a simple brown choker with a charm attached.
Her shirt is white and intricately designed. It has a rectangular collar; under it is a strip of brown cloth with a vine-like design. The upper back of the shirt is open, being held close on Fiona's lower back by light blue ribbons criss-crossing downwards until they tie into a neat bow. Fiona's sleeves have a "puffed" look and end a few inches before her wrists. The sleeves also have three spaced-out lines crossing them widthwise which resemble the strip of cloth at the top of her shirt. The sides of Fiona's shirt are also adorned with white criss-crossed which join with the snow-flake like pattern at the top of her skirt. The skirt in question is dark purple and starts at her torso to end several inches above her knees. To bottom edge of the skirt bears a beige floral pattern.
Fiona wears a pair of black stockings with a solid edge, and tall terracotta-colored boots with a vine-like (almost floral) design at their sides. Each of these sides, at its apex, bears a "V" shape where a zipper closes. The bottom of Fiona's shoes has black heels which is lifted an inch high.
That said, in the beginning of the game, Fiona wears a cream colored silk sheet only. Furthermore, halfway through Riccardo's level at the water tower, her outfit changes to a surgery outfit appropriately named Under The Scalpel.
Haunting Ground[]
When she turned 18, Fiona Belli left home to attend university. While visiting her parents during a break, she was involved in a serious traffic accident. When she came to, she found herself locked up in a mysterious castle, with no recollection of how she arrived there.
The castle's servants eventually explain that she has inherited the castle, but Fiona is not aware of any relatives who have ever lived in such a place. Frightened and confused, she searches for a way to escape the castle, but is thwarted at every turn by its inhabitants.
Fiona never had much talent for sports or other athletic endeavors. She is quiet and shy, yet intelligent and strong-willed. There is something inside her that draws people in and wins them over. Most of the tijme, she does not let her emotions get the best of her.
While trying to escape her predicament, she meets a dog named Hewie and they quickly develop a tight bond.
Costumes[]
Once the player has completed the game, they will gain unlockable outfits which they can dress Fiona with during their next playthrough.
- Normal Outfit - The default outfit, which is gained after meeting Daniella for the first time.
- Alternate Outfit - Similar to the Normal Outfit. However, Fiona's hair is down and she is barefoot. To get this outfit, the game must be completed once.
- Under the Scalpel - A patient's gown, usually worn by those undergoing surgery. To get this outfit, the game must be completed once.
- Texan Cowgirl - A cowgirl bikini outfit with a gun replacing the kick option. To get this outfit, the game must be completed once with the A ending. This is arguably the best costume for combat, but a disadvantage is the possibility to accidentally shoot Hewie.
- Illegal In Some States - A very sexy and provocative bondage dominatrix outfit with a whip replacing the kick option. To gain this outfit, the game must be completed once with the A or B ending.
- Fiona the Frog - A comical outfit with the bonus ability of prolonged stamina. To gain this outfit, the game must be completed once with the C ending.

Trivia[]
- Fiona bears an extremely strong resemblance to Jill Valentine as she appears in Resident Evil 5.
- Fiona, like Jill, can play the piano. How her skills compare to Jill's is unknown.
- Almost every male character in Haunting Ground is attracted to Fiona, each for different reasons. Debilitas follows her around Belli Castle thinking she is a doll to be played with; Riccardo wants to rape Fiona in order to be born again using her Azoth; as for Lorenzo , he wants that same Azoth to attain immortality.
